From Workshop to Design Studio
fusion-teach started in 2009 in a small workshop in Richmond, Melbourne. Marcus Webb, a third-generation carpenter, had spent years working on building sites watching good designs get poorly executed and average designs waste client budgets.
The idea was simple: bring design and construction under one roof. No more architects blaming builders, no more builders complaining about impractical designs. One team, accountable for everything.
That first year, we completed seven projects. Word spread. Clients appreciated dealing with people who actually understood both the creative and technical sides. Architects started recommending us for execution. By 2014, we had grown to a team of fifteen and opened our design studio in Collingwood.
Today, we operate across Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane, but the core principle remains: design and build together, with the same care whether it is a bathroom refresh or a full home transformation.
